Effects of the Russian Revolution
The Russian Revolution had a great impact on the rest of the world outside of Russia. One effect it had was its impact on the war. The Russian Revolution forced the country out of the war while they dealt with their own business. By taking Russia out of the war, the Central Powers had an advantage over the Allied Powers. Even though the Allied Powers still ended up winning the war, it still made it more difficult to defeat the Central Powers in the end.
Also, the Soviet Union attempted to spread their ideas of Communism around the world. By doing this, Communism was installed in more countries than it previously had been. This posed a threat to countries that did not approve of Communism, such as the United States of America. The U.S. were forced to confront Russia on the subject of Communism. The U.S. and the Soviet Union became super powers among the world, causing immense change all around the world.
